Talent Search lets you browse active jobseekers on the platform. The Talent Pool connects you with interview-verified candidates from other employers' hiring processes, people who were strong enough to interview but weren't selected.
Two Systems
Talent Search
Browse all active jobseekers on CME. Filter by skills, industry, location, and experience. View profiles, CME Clips, and SmartMatch scores, then invite candidates to apply for your jobs.
Talent Pool
A curated pool of candidates who completed interviews at other companies but weren't selected. They've opted in voluntarily — meaning they're actively looking and pre-vetted through real interviews.
How the Talent Pool Works
The Talent Pool is triggered automatically when a job closes. Candidates who were interviewed receive an invitation to opt in.
Job closes
When an employer fills a position or closes a job, the KindHire system processes all remaining candidates.
Interviewed candidates get invited
Anyone who completed an interview receives an email with a consent link to join the Talent Pool.
Dual opt-in
Candidates choose: join the Talent Pool (visible to all employers) and/or the Retainer (source employer can re-invite).
30-day visibility
Opted-in candidates are visible in the Talent Pool tab for 30 days. They can withdraw early at any time.
Employers invite to apply
Browsing employers see SmartMatch scores and can send an Invite to Apply for their open jobs.
Retainer System
The Retainer is an opt-in system for the source employer, the company that originally interviewed the candidate. If their hire doesn't work out, they can re-invite retained candidates directly.
This is separate from the Talent Pool. A candidate can opt into both, just one, or neither. Retainer consent is independent and can be withdrawn at any time.
