KindHire
Where ghosting isn't an option.
KindHire is CME's accountability system. Every candidate who applies gets a response. Every hiring decision is communicated. Every strong candidate stays visible. This is hiring with integrity, by design rather than by choice.
The Problem with Silence
What happens everywhere else
What happens on CME
Mandatory Closure
KindHire is not optional. Employers cannot close a job, let it expire, or move on without applying a KindHire decision to every remaining applicant. No one is left in the dark.
When a job is filled, every candidate who applied — whether they made it to the interview stage or not — receives a message. This eliminates ghosting by design, not by policy.
The Four Outcomes
Every hiring decision on CME results in one of four KindHire outcomes. Each one triggers an automatic, branded message to the candidate.
Shortlisted
The employer has flagged this candidate for further review. This is the first positive signal - they're on the radar and being actively considered.
Offer Extended
The employer sends a formal offer with salary, start date, working hours, and location. The candidate can accept or decline directly from their dashboard.
Hired
The candidate accepted. Onboarding begins. A Bill 190 employment confirmation letter is automatically generated and sent.
Not Selected
The candidate wasn't chosen for this role. They receive a respectful, personalized message, not silence. The employer can include a personal note.
Enforcement, Not Suggestions
KindHire doesn't ask employers to be responsive — it requires it. The system monitors response times and automatically intervenes when deadlines are missed.
If an employer doesn't respond to a boosted application within 21 hours, the system automatically shortlists the candidate, logs a ghosting event, applies a trust score penalty, and returns the boost credit to the jobseeker.

Rejection Is Not the End
On CME, strong candidates don't disappear after a “no.” Two systems keep them visible.
Talent Pool
Candidates who completed an interview and weren't selected can opt into the Talent Pool, a cross-employer network where they're visible to all companies on CME for 30 days.
Retainer
When opting into the Talent Pool, candidates can also consent to the Retainer, allowing the source employer to re-invite them if the original hire doesn't work out.
Hiring Continuity
Traditional hiring is a dead end. CME turns it into a continuous cycle.

Built-In Compliance
Every KindHire message, status change, and candidate interaction is automatically logged and archived. When it's time for a compliance review, everything is already documented.
CME generates compliance reports that include job posting history, all candidate communications, interview records, and hiring decisions — ready for Bill 190 and employment standards audits. Employers don't need to track anything manually.
The Philosophy
“KindHire removes the ability to disappear. It rewards good behavior, enforces accountability, and reframes rejection as a moment of clarity, respect, and potential opportunity.”
